Question Final PC Checklist

I found an ASUS Strix RTX 3090 OC for $750 with mods....

Seller claims:

Excellent Condition.

Used for games and CAD/3D programs, never used for mining. It was pretty lightly used too.

I repadded it with Gelid Ultimate and Extreme, and used a coolmygpu.com custom milled self indexing memory cooling shim with Arctic MX4 thermal paste. Pushing the card on stress tests the core clock never goes above 70°. Adding a decent Overclock the core clock temp never got above 78°. Idles around 40°. All on stock fans with ambient temp at 22° C. Was never thermal throttled in the benchmark tests below.

Never needed to OC it for normal use, but I did add some OC to some benchmark tests you can see at these links:

Comes in original box, picture in box coming soon. All pictures are of the actual GPU! Not stock.

You better off purchasing RX7900XTX for that price. Brand new. Even modded RTX3090Ti can't keep up with it.

Seriously get New stuff or Don't get anything at all. Because at-least you have peace of mind which is think is worth more than spending on used stuff. 😉

Lol. You went from good to bad. Stick to ASUS or Gigabyte.

Gave you ASUS TUF(RTX4090) build. ASUS ROG(RTX4080) Black build. And Gigabyte(RTX4080) White build.

Choose one of those.

Get SAMSUNG 980 Pro over WD SN770 or go for WD SN850X

Why not go for Gigabyte board. It be more uniformic. Or if you don't care for Uniformity go for ASUS board. There are white ones in ASUS as well.

Took your advice, dropped the SN770s and added the 980 Pros and went back to the Gigabyte Mobo. I wanted to do that Asrock Mobo, to save some money, but think it'll be a better way to go....

Plus most of the RGB would be done by the AIO, GPU, and Fans, not so much on the Mobo end, one other thing does this Corsair AIO come with the mounting hardware for LGA 1700? That was my gripe with the earlier Corsair AIOs
