Hey experts, want to know your opinion on my future gaming setup:
  • Mobo: ASUS PRIME X570-PRO or GIGABYTE X570 AORUS ELITE or ASUS PRIME X570-P
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER GAMING OC WHITE 8G
  • RAM: G.SKILL 16GB KIT DDR4 3600MHz CL16 Trident Z RGB
  • SSD (M.2): Samsung 970 EVO PLUS 500GB
  • PSU: Seasonic S12II-620
  • Case: Fractal Design Meshify C White
  • Water cooling: NZXT Kraken X62

Questions:
  1. I am still choosing mobo as you see, thus need some help to choose proper one.
  2. Is M.2 SSD so much better then usual one?
  3. Is there any other recommendations?

Well first is someone building it for you? I am gonna say Aorus Elite and no NVME isn't worth it unless you move files around a lot SSD will do just fine and can you give a budget and country? (+ build cost if you are having it built by a store and not an online prebuilt site)

I am going to build it myself, there are plenty of online guides how to assemble. I am planning to spend around $1500

Alright, games are starting to take up ALOT of space so I'd get a 1TB SSD or NVME and a 2 TB HDD or another 1TB SSD if you want to put the AIO in the top of the case you will need to step down to a 240mm AIO.
Yeah, I got adviced already to change Samsung 970 EVO PLUS 500GB to Crucial P1 1TB M.2 2280 SSD or Intel 660p M.2 1TB SSD NVMe. Probably would go with Intel 660p.

As for the AIO, just reviewed CPUs and probably would save some money on that as well.

Would you recommend to buy 3600Mhz RAM for Ryzen 5 3600? Read somewhere that 3 gen. Ryzen requires fast RAM to perform better.

Lastly, does PSU Seasonic S12II-620 is good and capable enough for this build? Thinking to go with a little bit more expensive one - Seasonic Focus Plus 650 Gold?

3600MHz is a waste of money, in my opinion, get 3200MHz and you will be fine as for the PSU I'd put the extra money into the focus gold.

So after all adjustments setup looks like that:
  • Mobo: GIGABYTE X570 AORUS ELITE
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER GAMING OC WHITE 8G
  • RAM: G.SKILL 16GB KIT DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Trident Z RGB (changed from 3600Mhz)
  • SSD (M.2): Crucial P1 1TB M.2 2280 SSD (changed from Samsung 970 EVO PLUS 500GB)
  • PSU: Seasonic Focus Plus 650 Gold (changed from Seasonic S12II-620)
  • Case: Fractal Design Meshify C White

Any other improvements and suggestions?
