Hello!

My computer* is currently struggling to play new games like Prey: Mooncrash, Doom (2016), and such. I want to upgrade it so I can play those games with better performance, and also new games like: Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2, and Cyberpunk 2077.

Yet I'm a noob when it comes to computers, so my question is: which part(s) is the bottleneck in my current setup?**

**it's an old setup, so maybe multiple parts has to be upgraded?

All help is highly appreciated :).

/Cheers,
Grauth

Your GPU is decent. Maybe a normal system upgrade is in order.
CPU, motherboard, RAM.
Something like AMD Ryzen 3600, 16 gigs of DDR4, preferably 3600 Mhz RAM and some motherboard that supports that RAM-speed.

I would say the processor would be a bit of a bottleneck, since its like 10 years old. Maybe get a better processor
Do you think it would be worthwhile to get a new CPU for my current motherboard, or should I look into getting a new motherboard so I can use a newer CPU?
