[SOLVED] Fine horizontal lines on curved display

Hi,

I bought this display a few days ago:

Initially it wasn't there or maybe i didn't notice, but now i see some very fine horizontal lines on the whole display, if looking carefully.

Everything else is fine with the display like colors, resolution etc.

I can't make the horizontal fine lines go away, having been tried 3 different cables, mini-hdmi to hdmi, dvi to dvi and dvi to hdmi. Latest nvidia drivers are installed. Lines do appear on linux and windows alike. This issue doesn't occur on the other 27 incher IPS on the same system.

Its not a very big issue though, because from 2-3 feet away you can barely see these lines but still its noticeable and ruins experience of browsing, editing etc.

I am confused between these two reasons for the issue:

1. Panel quality issue?
2. Not running on full 144hz, capped on 60hz right now due to port mismatch on my gt750ti.

Please help me figure out and fix if its at all possible.

Most likely it's a monitor issue. You can rule out anything else by trying it with another computer.
