I finished my computer a couple days ago and when I tried to plug in a USB cable into one if the ports, I noticed that there was a small piece of metal blocking the port. I say in an LTT video that the fins could stick into the port and short it out. How do I fix the fins? I am having trouble removing the motherboard, and I suppose I could just bend the fins up. What should I do?

The ethernet cable has the metal blocking it and the display port cable has it bent away.

You might try using a small needle nose pliers to grasp and gently flex the tabs until they break off.

Runs the risk of leaving sharp, pointed metal "tabs" that could gouge cables or make metal to metal contact.
