Is there any way to prevent Firefox hangs?

I get this report in Windows 10 problem reports:

Are you using the latest version of Firefox?

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the browser?

Run FF in "Safe Mode" ie all addons switched off, and see if the problem persists.

If that solves it, re-enable the addons one at a time until the issue returns, and you have the culprit.


HOWEVER, a quick search turns up people using Outlook and MS browsers getting the same crash, so it might be a Win10 bug. MS tech desk also suggests turning off addons.

I have the same version of FF, and havent had an issue with the program in so long, I cannot remember how many years.
