I have a ZTE ZXHN H298Q v7.0 Router and I want a the firmware for it so I can unbrick it.
If you have it, I'd appreciate it if you share it with me. Thanks.

I can get to many of the links but nothing happens when I try to choose a country or region.

Scroll down a bit: do you see the "cookie" options?
I accepted the cookies but still nothing happening. It's the same for me as well. It doesn't let me choose a region. I think their sites are buggy...

Something does seem amiss.

Late thought - try another browser and/or access via another computer.
I tried opening the website in another laptop that's running linux and it still not functional. Maybe it's a staff only website where they can download stuff if they needed it.

Does the router even have a recovery method for when the firmware fails.

Part of the issue with ZTE stuff is they have a bunch of routers that they load custom version of firmware that a ISP asked for. The ISP technically owns those routers and likes to keep them all on a certain firmware level so the prevent the end user from changing it. Problem is they also sell the exact same routers or at least ones that are very similar.

What might also be a problem is they have VOIP ports on that router. Many times these are the type of router that is locked down to a ISP because of all the special settings it needs and they don't want to share those to avoid people stealing service.

From looking at their web site they are not very end consumer friendly. I suspect they detect the country you are coming from and show different stuff.

If you're asking about the bootloader then yes the bootloader is unlocked I have the password for that what I don't have is a functional firmware that I can flash it with. If I just flash it with any other firmware it would brick the device.
