Yeah the expansion drive is a shocking price, however I wouldn't expect anything different from Sony in all fairness.

Their proprietary memory cards on all the previous handhelds is a dead giveaway there.

There's absolutely NO reason at a the interface on both the new gen consoles couldn't have been a straight external m2 nvme slot of some sort.

Its just blatant cash grabbing of the highest order but totally expected.

I'll never buy an official expansion for my series x at those prices, I'd rather spend the time shunting stuff to and from my 12tb external hard drive.
