So I built my new pc which happens to be the first to build on my own. Its a MSI X99 SLI PLUS, INTEL I7 5820K, HYPERX FURY 4X4GB, GIGABYTE G1 GAMING GTX970, SSD SAMSUNG 850 EVO 500GB NZXT S340 (no cd slot). I haven't powered it yet I just setup everything in the case ready to go. My question is what are the steps that i need to follow now. How to I continue? Should I power it and see what will happen or install bios from flash drive. Feel free to post me any previous posts and thank everyone in advance!

and what about the bios update, the ssd options in the bios menu, the ram freq etc? ty for reply btw

Only update the BIOS if you have a documented need to do so, AND a newer version of the BIOS actually fixes that
RAM freq? Leave it alone for now.

I got it all thanks.I am currently waiting for the windows to complete downloading ( i get them for free from university) and I will start. Do you have any posts saying the ACHI ssd settings or there is no need to change them at all? I will install windows 7 from usb. Thanks for reply
Last but not least do you suggest windows 7/8 or 10?

Yes, enable AHCI mode in the BIOS.

As for which OS. Any of the 3.

I faced some problems but i think i found the right post. So i tried to start the pc and it went to bios. I was trying to find the AHCI setting when it stopped at the bios screen. I manually restarted the pc and then i got no display at all (fans running, cpu coller running, gpu coolers running everything seem to work). I read the things i need to check and after a while i unplugged ram and pw sw+,- then unplugged gpu power supply and reconnected all again and seemed to work. After all i tried to boot win 7 from usb. So now i face a problem with ssd detection: right at the section where it says
"select the driver to be installed" i get the message "a required cd/dvd drive device driver is missing. if you have a floppy disk cd dvd or usb drive please invert it now. Note: if the windows installation media is in the cd/dvd drive you can safely remove it for this step". I tried pressing shift +f10 and cleaning the ssd but there was still no result. In the bios menu i can find my samsung evo and it's the only drive that i use. The only thing i haven't tried is insalling the sata drivers from usb. I am booting win 7 from usb 3.0 flashh drive btw. Are there any suggestions?

I finally did find solution to everything. Since things can get more complicated than we might think I will explain how I solved the problems I faced.
I had bios running and detecting my ssd
I wanted to install the windows 7 from usb 3.0 flash
In the installation menu I was getting this message " i get the message "a required cd/dvd drive device driver is missing. if you have a floppy disk cd dvd or usb drive please invert it now. Note: if the windows installation media is in the cd/dvd drive you can safely remove it for this step" after this I could not find my ssd and create my partition etc so I can click next to install it
The solution was really simple and I could not even think of it
My MOBO had 2 usb 2.0 ports and 8 usb 3.0 ports so I had my mouse and keyboard in the 2.0 ones and the usb 3.0 flash drive in the 3.0 port
The next step was to place the usb device in usb 2.0 port and keyboard in usb 3.0 port
(strange thing is that during bios usb 3.0 ports seem to work but when in installation they don't so i removed mouse and entered keyboard to write for example something and then again enterd mouse to click something ffs)
So that way I could find my partition and click "next" to start the setup
And once again another problem: I got this "“Setup was unable to create a system partition or locate an existing partition."

The solution was to follow these steps:
1.When you see the error – remove the flash drive from the computer
2.Press exit (red cross in the top right corner)
3.Start installation from the beginning (without reboot)
4.After selecting Windows 7 edition you will get new error
5.Press OK in error window, you will be redirected to installation main menu
6.Insert your USB Flash drive in to the computer
7.Install windows

(after the istallation and during the final stage it will reboot again remove the flash drive because it will try install windows again)
Finally you are ready to go.

Sorry for all the posts though it was my first pc build-setup and I faced a lot of problems. Hope I can help someone else with all the problems I tried to explain. Starting driver installation now Thanks for help guys!

OK cool, glad to hear it's resolved. Enjoy your PC! :)
