First Build $1000 limit Need finishing touches

I might have posted this before but couldnt find it so here it is again.

This is my first time building a pc and i wanted a few suggestions
First off im not sure what power supply i should use. I also want to know if all my parts are compatible. Since this is my first build I dont plan on overclocking much if at all.Besides the power supply am i missing anything? Do i need to buy thermal paste? The case I plan on buying says the power supply is bottom mounted; does that matter? If theres any parts that would work better please leave a link in your reply.

The pc is for gaming ? What is your budget ? If is for gaming it can be done better.

Sounds very similar to my build but I am seeking advice too... Not really gonna be much help but did you select a power supply? bottom mounted is the most common place for a PSU I think. I would get a 6770 graphics card but if your on a budget like me then you want to stick to it.
