This is my first build i have picked all the parts and just wanting to know if everything i have selected is good to go? i am using it for gaming. i know it is overkill for gaming. and i am not looking to sli right now.

1. Get an SSD with that HDD for the Intel SRT
2. You don't need a PSU that big for such a small build, its inefficient and runs your power bill.
3. Save yourself a few bucks lose the super clock part on that GPU, you can easily do it yourself.
4. 16 GB is ram is a bit over kill if your not using Auto CAD or Maya ect.....

If this is a gaming build then here's some changes. First off the 2600K has zero advantage over the 2500K in regards to gaming. 16GB of RAM is serious over kill for a gaming build...even 8GB is but it's cheap atm. CM psu's aren't anything to be recommended, and 1000w is way over kill for dual 570's in SLI. With the money saved pick yourself up an SSD.

couldn't say it's overkill... but there are some parts that you don't need and you can get cheaper ones...

for mobo... recently... asrock released a series of p67/z68 mobo that has pcie 3.0 slots... supporting future ivy bridge cpus and future pcie 3.0 compliant devices...
for about $125... you can get this one...

to use the pcie 3.0 slots you are required to upgrade your cpu to ivy bridge and getting a pcie 3.0 standard graphics card for example... but at least you save the money on upgrade your mobo...

for power supply... for most of the time... you don't need a 1kw psu unless you want to do sli and overclock heavily on your cpu and gpu... this 850w model should do the job well enough and save you some money... don't worry.. this psu is manufactured by enermax... the quality no worse than corsair psu... and this model should handle your gtx 570 even in sli...

for gaming i7 2600k has no significant advantage over the $95 cheaper i5 2500k...

an ssd as a boot drive may not increase your game's fps... but it does what a typical hdd does faster... alot faster....

Yes, but overkill in the wrong area. I would take why me's suggestion, it is very valid.
 
i took most of that set up and it leaves me just below my price range for everything. including moniters and keyboard. i am changing my optical drive to a none oem model.
 
I would consider a gtx560ti over the gtx570. You can overclock most gtx560ti's to match the performance of the gtx570 for about $100min less. I have the evga gtx560ti fpb and couldn't be happier. It plays well on 1080p resolutions. No issues with Crysis 2, CODBO and BFBC2. Also you can get a way with a 750watt powesupply. Go to this website, pay the $1 and put it all your items. It will tell you exactly your loads. Also you can add in a second gpu or more peripherals to see what your future upgrade would cost wattage wise. My corsair 750 watt works great plus you can get it less than $80 if you watch newegg sales.

i am going to stick with the 570 because it fits into my bugdet and i dont have to do any altering to get the results i want. and i like the 15 core Why me that saved me alot of money sense it comes with a HDD, the same one i had picked to.
