Hey guys, This is gonna be my first gaming rig and I'm super stoked! I wanna buy the parts soon so can you check out my parts to make sure they are compatible with each other? I'm pretty sure they are but it would be nice for assurance! And yes I know there's no OS on there... I got that covered already! If anyone is curious I will be doing a cfx setup with the 6950 later down the line!

Thanks!!!

Yeah, you're good but here's some suggestions:
1) I like the NZXT Phantom the regular black one has 15% off after reduced price:
NZXT Phantom Black $125 [15% off promo available until 8/14]

2) Skip the water cooler and thermal compound. Get this instead it comes with its own supply of thermal compound.
Cooler Master Hyper 212+ $30

Otherwise, everything looks good and compatible.

Thanks, actually all the NZXT cases are 15% off! It's also funny about your second suggestion because That's what i originally had, but the person that is helping me build this told me the h60 was a better choice

Well, the h60 will cool a few C better on idle and around 10C on load. Prime 95 will show better result but it is more than 2x the price. Why don't you go for a Scythe Mugen 2 or Mugen 3 instead? http://www.overclock.net/air-cooling/1041127-scythe-mugen-2-vs-mugen-3-a.html

Mugen 2 is $40 [most likely out of stock in newegg] and the Mugen 3 is $50. I prefer air cooling than water. It's cheaper and works well. Seeing how all cases are 15% promo then you're good to go 😀

You need memory that is 1.5v or less, not 1.65v. Also, that is one expensive psu. This one would be sufficient for Xfire for $59 after rebate and $10 promo code.

This one is on sale too and gives you plenty of headroom.

If your watercooling, go with the H100.

Does my mobo or cpu not support 1.65 volt for some reason? I really wasn't aware of that actually. I think I'm gonna stay with my PSU that I have right now. I don't wanna cheap out on it, and I also would like to get a nice PSU for future proof.
