Hi All,
I recently just bought all the components to build my first computer. I feel as though I just got a handle of everything that makes up a computer in terms of its components and now I am reading about all the settings you can change in the BIOS and it is a little overwhelming.
My question is once I start my computer up for the first time is there anything in the BIOS you recommend changing, or can I just start installing my OS with the default settings enabled?
Currently I am not planning on overclocking anything.
The components I am using are:
CPU
AMD FX-6300
Motherboard
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3
Memory
G.Skill 8GB
Storage
Western Digital 1TB 7200RPM
Video Card
XFX Radeon R9 280X
Case
Cougar Spike
Power Supply
OCZ 550W
Optical Drive
Samsung SH-224DB/RSBS
