First build, just looking for some feedback to see if I'm getting my money's worth.

Hey guys, I'm fairly new to the world of PC building and I want to make sure I'm getting my money's worth. I have done quite a bit of research and I'm going for a white/black theme. I'm going for gaming, I do nothing related to editing, hence the i5. Here's a link to my pc partpicker http://pcpartpicker.com/p/9n7DXL. Any responses are appreciated, take care.

I didn't really look into the size of the monitor's, the acer is really just meant to be a cheap second monitor that I can view the misc things on while gaming on the asus monitor.

If you are not going to overclock then just get the i5-4460. 16GB ram is kind of overkill. You will only need it when running several VMs at the same time. 8GB is more than enough if you are just gaming. Also, SLI isn't too good an idea. Some games don't support it and you get 2x the heat and noise. A GTX 980 will do the job.

Is there a specific 980 you would recommend, as I am trying to stick with the black/white theme. I haven't seen anything really on the GTX 980 HOF, so I'm curious if there are any better solutions for a 980.

Try to keep in mind, I am trying my best to keep the white/black color scheme. I don't know about how that would affect the build looks wise.

Would it be a marginal enough difference to drop another $680 on it, or should I just settle with one. I will be playing very demanding games such as GTAV, bfhardline, and h1z1 on this computer. So I would like a pc that can handle those and be good for about 2 or so years.

Alright, do you think I should sli the 980's or just wait for a better card to come out in the future?

Oh shit, the 980 hof is out of stock
