New to the forums. Hoping to get some advice from more experienced builders. I am building a PC primarily for Video Editing, although I'd like to be able to play a game on it as well if I choose to. I've been researching products for about 2 years now, and think I've come up with my final parts list. Programs will consist of Premier Pro CS6, After Effects CS6, Photoshop CS6, Illustrator CS6, and Cinema 4d R15. I am looking to build a good computer that will last for a while. I don't really have a budget, as I'll be purchasing the parts individually and not all at once. Would like to have this build completed by Christmas 2015 (2 months). I ordered the Case and the PSU last night, and they are on the way. I would like some opinions on the other major components before I go and drop money on these expensive components. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

What I would change from Hatib's solution is the monitors, and from both, the Gfx card, though still staying 980:

Asus VX279Q 60Hz 27.0"

EVGA GeForce GTX 980 4GB Superclocked
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-04gp42982kr

The original card had 1 each of DVI-D/DVI-D/DP/HDMI ports and the monitors were not IPS and had DVI/HDMI/VGA connections, so that's different connection types from card to panel.

Hatib's monitors also were not listed as IPS in PCPP and only had DVI and VGA connectors, so one of those connections would have to go through an adaptor.

The superclocked has 3 DP ports+DVI-I & HDMI the monitors have DP/HDMI/VGA and are IPS. Displayport connections to each monitor and very good color quality. (Also, FYI, PCPP is showing a $30 mail in rebate on the monitors at this time)

As Hatib, I'd go for a single storage drive instead of 4 drives in RAID 0. RAID 0 would be faster, but it means that there are 4 machines that could fail for any reason taking everything out instead of 1, for something that really won't matter much.

but the monitors are expensive

but the monitors are expensive

Yes they are, but, his saying 'I don't really have a budget' and the photo and video manipulation software listed showed that color accuracy would also be very important. The card and IPS monitors using the same connection type better ensures color correctness in all 3 displays. (Though the OP should still get the screens calibrated.)

Also with him saying that he'd buy over time, could have him getting the first monitor then the other 2 at a slightly later time. (Then again, his build is already 3500+ bucks)

Personally, I like TN for everything that I do, but I don't have thousands of dollars worth of professional photo and video editing software suites either.

You are correct in that color correctness is very important. Not only is the software expensive, but so is all of the video and photography equipment I have. That's why I'm investing so much money in it. I want something that can handle multi camera editing while still being able to utilize 3d software as well. I really appreciate both of your inputs and will make the correct changes in the monitor and gpu. I would rather buy one "correct" monitor at a time, than to buy 3 cheap "non-correct" ones at once. If there is anything else that I'm missing besides the monitor and gpu, please let me know. Once again, really appreciate all the help I can get.
