There's my part picker list, like I said, first one, haven't even ever got a prebuild "gaming" pc, so this is all very new to me, main question is, do you guys see anything else I need?

Edit: Kind of answered my own main worry after looking a bit more, but the rest is still a question I'd like some help on anyway.

That's annoying, I don't know PCP always seems to do that, but yeah, I'm porting over the 2080 I got around a year ago, just beefing up the rest of the system now.

Try that one.
Something to consider. Intel's 11th gen Rocket Lake cpu's will be officially released three days from now. I'd wait to see the reviews/benchmarks from sites such as this one before making a decision. More 11th gen cpu's along with the new B560 and Z590 boards will start showing up on Newegg within the week. With that said, the i9 isn't really known for being a great deal for a gaming cpu.

The part list is set to private....
Also I'm not sure if you're aware but GPU's are rather hard to get at retail price at the moment. So if you don't have one yet, you're gonna have an incomplete build for a while.

Now isn't the time to build. As said, I'd wait a week or two for the 11th Gen embargo to lift on the 11600k/11900k. Once those hit the market, it's going to change pricing.

Personally, I feel like Intel is just spinning its wheels currently, the 11700k isn't overall any different to the 10700k and the 11900k is the same cpu as the 11700k with a 200MHz bump in clocks, same 8/16 architecture.

Ryzen 5800x looks way better for the price, especially considering that 240mm AIO isn't near enough to cool a 10900k series cpu. 250w cpu on a 250w cooler = 90-100°C.

Bad enough with the trickery MSI uses in their power limits, although Gigabyte is worse in that aspect when using a Z490 motherboard.

I guess the downside would be that I have most it already, the watercooler isn't strong enough to keep it cool though? What would you suggest?

I'm pretty sure I can still return if I need too, this was a build that someone else helped me out with. I'm fairly clueless for the most part when it comes to the specs down to this level anyway.

Your pc in stock configuration is Bruce Banner. Your cpu when overclocked, locked cores, performance mode, Dragon Center performance etc is the Hulk. The cooler you have is Bruce's underwear. You really could use Hulk size undies if you plan on doing Anything listed above, which almost everybody does, sooner or later, since that's why they got that cpu instead of a plain 10900.

So the cooler is good, as is, but if you Hulk out the cpu, things are going to get very, very cramped in a hurry. I'm talking about temps, but the analogy is sound.
