i have hundreds hours with computer parts but never built a entire system i just made a pc and went to switch it on by the psu and the motherboard was beeping and i’m 95% sure the psu was beeping as well nothing turns on (including when i switch the psu on and press the on button on the case and the skew driver trick) including the psu fan case fans ect there is no response for any component only the beep sound

my mobo : asus tuf gaming b760m plus wifi

my psu : thermal take lite power 750w

my cpu : i7 12700kf

gpu : 2060 super

ram : 32gb 2 sticks

here is the beep sound

Alright, so what have you tried so far? Nothing?

Have your tried reseating the RAM (removing it, cleaning the contacts of the RAM and putting them back)? It could be that the RAM isn't plugged in properly so it is beeping.

The beeping sound was rather inaudible, although I could hear it faintly.

You can see what error it is, if you count the number of beeps (or does it beep indefinitely?) and go to your motherboards documentation which will have the error code section. In it you can find what the error is according to the number of beeps
Some Asus Beep codes: https://softwarekeep.com/blog/what-are-asus-beep-codes-and-how-to-identify-them

EDIT: I could hear a lot of Beeps (couldn't count tho), which the documentation says 10 beeps is a CMOS battery replacement thing. Might be that (?)

Can you see any other LEDs Indication something on the motherboard? That also can be used to troubleshoot.

Hope you'll get it fixed soon!

You may have made a common error for new builders with the placement of stand-offs. For details, see my post of Aug 21/22 in this thread

IF that still does not work, my later post of Aug 23/22 in that thread outlines a general troubleshooting technique called "breadboarding".

By the way, do not get too involved in that thread. In the end it turned out that the major puzzling issue there was a faulty mobo.
