So i'm a first time builder with limited knowledge of this kind of thing. I initially tried to install a Micro-ATX motherboard into my ATX case assuming it wouldn't be an issue. Some of the standoffs/screws wouldn't go in properly (i.e would continue spinning) whereas others would be fine. My PC turned on for a few seconds and then would turn off. I thought this was an issue with the motherboard size and so returned it, and replaced it with the MSI B450 Tomahawk instead. Same problem. Had to install new standoffs and screws manually and even then some of the standoffs and screws were loose. Managed to make them stay in place with a slightly thicker M.5*6 screw but this time my PC won't turn on at all. I'm at a loss here. If anybody knows what the issue might be then I would really appreciate the help! Happy to answer any questions.
