Below is what I'm looking to build. Primary use will be photoshop. I know the video card is overkill but I can't find review for a GPU for photoshop just gaming. Please let me know any recommendations. Specially around memory, PSU & GPU.

That wont work... And if it some how does, then it will not be stable. Completely different hardware so completely different drivers/software/bios settings

that card is not meant to handle the accuracy involved with rendering... it is a gaming card and is meant for on screen pinpoint accuracy. when working with photoshop and such programs you want the best for that that you can get....

Dont go the Half a** route just get the workstation card. Unless you plan on gaming then get a gaming card... but whatever you do dont get the wrong drivers for your card!

What will you actually be doing in Photoshop? I have multiple machines setup with Photoshop and each one is built somewhat differently due to its primary purpose. Simply scanning files into an archive takes very little horsepower. Working with a large scan, performing lots of edits, and adding layers will have you wanting for a fast processor and a multi-drive array.

Like you, I am also building a new Photoshop machine...although my budget is $10-$12K! Even though the budgets are quite different, the thought process is the same.

Let's explore this a little deeper.
