I will hpoefully build my first pc soon. I have an ssd and HDD. I will install windows from a USB or USB CD drive.
So in the BIOS i will set the boot priority to USB first. I will install windows to the ssd. After the install and drivers should i go into the bios again and switch it to boot from ssd first because that is where the OS is?
Please Help

Solution
The answer to your question is yes. As soon as Windows is installed reboot your computer and go into the system BIOS. Select the ssd as the primary boot drive. In addition make sure ACHI mode is enabled instead of IDE mode and check other settings. Save the changes and continue with the startup.

Ron Burgundy - The OP did not identify the motherboard so we don't know if the motherboard has a newer UEFI BIOS. As a result we recommend the lowest common denominator. There are other settings that need to be checked.
