First build : questions

I have some questions about computer hardware. Here is a possible configuration that I look at to buy on Newegg.ca soon !

Case: Azza Solano 1000

Processor: Intel Core i5 2500k (3.3 GHz)

Motherboard: ASRock P67 EXTREME 4

GPU: MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II O/C

Power supply: Silverstone Strider Plus 750W

HDD: WD Caviar Black 640 GB

Memory: Kingston HyperX 2x4 GB DDR3/1600 MHz

So, my questions are :

1. How do you find this gaming rig ?

2. Is the Z68 chipset worth getting ? I hesitate between this ASRock P67 EXTREME 4 and a ASUS P8Z68-V PRO !

3. Do I need extra fans ?

Nice rig. The Z68 is only worth it if you want the extra features. There is plenty of fans in the case but if you are planning overclock a after market cooler is a good idea http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065

I'd down on the AsRock boards because they don't offer an industry standard 3 year warranty .... just recently they bumped it up from 1 to 2 years but 3 is the industry standard.

For the price of the Azza you could have one of these:

They have plenty of fans. Yopu willw ant a CPU cooler if overclocking

I have gotten most of the Asus ones to 1000Mhz w/o any voltage adjustments

Current Strider is not a bad PSU w/ 9.5 rating

But at $180, I'd opt for the same 9.5 rating from an XFX Core Edition for $85

The 640 GB model is a bit slow .... Spinpint 1 TB is just few $ more

come on jack, the good ole scmg-2100 has been out of stock for months. its not coming back, it has been replaced by tragically pricier mugen 3.

For the power supply, it is the Strider Plus Gold that is 180$. I was talking of this one: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817256059

The Azza Solano 1000 is a full tower, instead of the two from Antec I prefer buy a bigger one for future updates ! So, should I take the ASRock motherboard or change for another one ?
