Well to start I should say Hi! First time on posting on the forums have been reading them past couple days but not posting aha
Secondly, I am a complete noob when it comes to building a PC, I've watched a couple vids with beginner tips ie, buying all parts at once, making for advice, getting the right psu? Going for a mid sie case, but anything else I don't really know aha I am 22 and I should be able to follow all the video advice on YouTube etc and written advice when it comes to doing the build so I'm not too worried in that respect, the real thing I'm worried about is knowing what to buy, what parts I need, what gpu works with certain CPUs etc >.<
To make this as easy as possible for you guys I'm going to follow the templet posted on the *How to ask for advice* thread ;-)
Approximate Purchase Date: 1 month from now(when I will have the maximum cash for my budget saved, sooner if I can buy for cheaper :-D)
Budget Range: £300-£650
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, this is the main purpose of the build, I will mainly be playing League of Legends, but I will also be playing hearth and wildstar possbly, then watching twitch,YouTube, movies and browsing internet.
Are you buying a monitor: Yes
Parts to Upgrade: I would like to include upgradeability for dual gpu in future, I heard from video that sli/crossfire motherboards(no idea what they are tbh) are worthwhile getting to allow for these kind of upgrades?
Do you need to buy OS: Yes
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: I was thinking newegg.com, although whatever you guys suggest I am happy to go with, first time so open to suggestions, I am in uk so a uk site preferred for P&P ;-)
Location: Stirling, Scotland, UK
Parts Preferences: CPU - i5 4590 Quad core 3.3ghz 6mb, Memory: 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3/1600mhz Dual Channel Memory (Kingston HyperX Blu w/Heat Spreader)
GPU - GeForce gtx 750 2gb 16x
Note sure on rest, the above was copy pasta from the prebuilt I was looking at that cost £635, Intel Achilles Se from cyberpowersystem.co.uk
Overclocking: Maybe, bit wary on this as I'm a noob and don't want to run risk of damaging computer ;-) if there even is a risk associated aha
SLI or Crossfire: Yes?
Your Monitor Resolution: 1280x1024 I think
Additional Comments: A window with blue lights inside would be awesome ^_^
I will mainly be playing League of Legends, hearthstone and I'm wanting to tryout WildStar
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: It's a build from scratch xD always wanted to build my own gaming PC!
All advice is GREATLY appreciated and thank you so much just for reading the wall of text I know it is a lot I've tried to fit in, any other info you need just ask and I shall try supply ;-)
