Hello all, I'm new to the whole custom PC business and I'm seeking advice! I've been a PC gamer my whole life, often getting more knowledgeable people like my brother to build them for me. But he's moved out so it's up to me to build my next one. I've done a bit of research and have got a list for a build. Let me know what you guys think, I would really appreciate feedback!

-SRock 970DE3-U3S3 AM3 970/4xDDR3/SATA3
-500gb HDD
-AM3 FX-4170
-Patriot Gamer 2 4gb single (I thought this would be best because I'm planning to upgrade to 8gb later when I get some more money.)
-Coolermaster Elite RC-335
-GTX 550 TI

Let me know what you guys think, I'd really appreciate feedback!
Thanks in advance!

Oh yes, right. Well, I chose this build because it sticks to a budget, I'm only wanting to spend $500 on the PC itself, I've already got a monitor. I'm planning to use it for the main purpose of gaming, but I'm not playing anything too hardcore, just a lot of League of Legends and Skyrim. And a few other games that aren't too stressful (Assassin's Creed, Fallout and such). Nothing like Crysis or BF3. I'm planning to get it next week.
