Hello everyone,
I'm trying to learn about PC gaming by building my first PC.
It will be specifically for gaming and content creating (recording gameplay footage, editing videos, etc.) I'm hoping to stay around a budget of $500 - $700.
I only know a little about PCs, but i'm interested in building a machine that I can use to learn as much as possible, before I try to build a far more powerful and expensive one in the future.
I'm hoping to build a machine that I can comfortably play Minecraft, Runescape, WoW, Steam Games, FPS, etc.
I'm not opposed to 4Kor VR capability, but i'm perfectly comfortable with 1080p and no VR. I could be described as mildly curious at best.
I wouldn't mind having a computer capable of them from day one or upgrading to it later on.
I'm not sure what kind of monitor I should start with, but i'm interested in learning what brands are preferred and why.
I'm also not sure what tools I should make sure I have before I attempt to put anything together.
Any tips for beginners you have is appreciated and any builds you have in-mind for beginners is also totally appreciated.
Please share your opinions on this build I have in-mind, critique it as much as possible if you like:
- AeroCool Mid-Tower Gaming Case (Aero-800 White)

- SanDisk Ultra II 240GB SATA 6G/s 2.5" Solid State Drive (SSD) SDSSDHII-240G
- operating system - I prefer Windows 8, but i'm open to any suggestions
Hopefully, i'm not missing anything, but please let me know if I am. Hopefully, everything I have listed is compatible, if not please also let me know.
Thank you.
