I decided to make a gaming PC and created my first build. Before I buy anything I would like to get some comments on my build. Is it good? Any improvements needed? My budget is about $800-1000 and this build went a little over. (It could go down if I buy from other stores right?) Anyway here my build. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3734O I'm open for improvement ideas or criticism since I'm an amateur. Hope I did good for a first try :)

well most of its pretty easy, and there are alot of build-a-pc guides on youtube which is a great place to get the basics.

the most complicated part is just connecting everything in the right place to the motherboard, but aslong as you follow the instructions properly in the motherboard manual it will be easy.

great build, only two things i would say is have you thought about an ssd drive for your OS ? it will speed up boot times and loading times for games.

only other thing is perhaps think about haswell if it isnt too much extra? If it is then stick to ivy as haswell you will only see around a 5-10% performance increase.

Sorry but I'm at this and haven't learned all terms. What do you mean by 'ssd drive' for my OS. And I read ivy has is better to overclock over haswell so I chose ivy, but to be honest I have no idea which is better.

well an ssd is a solid state drive, basically its just alot faster, typically people choose something like a 128gb ssd for their OS and programs/games, so they load up really fast etc, and then something like a 1tb hdd for storage and other things.

and yea thats true ivy does overclock a bit better, but i know you can reach 4.6ghz on haswell pretty easily and clock for clock its about 5-10% faster, but depends on if you want to take ivy higher than that.

personally if i had the money i would grab haswell, but you may find ivy a bit cheaper and the performance difference is nothing to worry about so just go depending on prices tbh.

windows 7... home premium atleast, or pro/ultimate if you have the budget

Sorry, last question. If i ordered all the parts how would I assemble them. Do people learn online or its something you must figure on your own or instructions come?
