First off, you don't want a B75 mobo combined with an i5-3570k CPU. You're wasting the overclocking capabilities of the CPU on a board that doesn't support overclocking. You'll want a z77 motherboard instead. Not sure if you'll be able to hear the difference between the integrated HD audio of a motherboard and that which you'll get from a dedicated sound card, either. The video card, while good, you could probably get nearly as much capacity out of a GTX 660 (which is a little cheaper). If you're getting a 7870, get the LE variety based off of Tahiti, as it's superior to the standard 7870s.

I would recommend ditching the audio card, honestly, and replace the case and power supply with something that's got a better reputation. The case is up to you, but the PSU should probably be a Corsair, Seasonic, XFX, or one of the Rosewill Hive series if you gotta go cheap.

Slightly over budget, though the 770 gtx would make it well worth it. You can probably find a cheaper HDD if you wanted but I have a very heavy preference for 1tb HDD's at bare minimum. Can also slim it down again if you can find a h61 mobo that supports ivy right out of the box, though that takes some leg work which I leave up to you. Sadly no overclocking, even going AMD to allow overclocking I felt was pointless as once you factor in the cpu/mobo/heatsink you had to upgrade the PSU so I went with the 3350p instead and called it a day.

Forgot you might want to buy additional fans with that case. Though that put it in the price range of the rosewill challenger, and a few other good cases. I was just feeling a small computer build today.

Power supply will have change, recommend a Corsair. As for the sound card, it depends what type of audio set up you have/want. For gaming purposes the on board card is a safe bet. And the plus point is you can add a sound card at anytime later if need be. Not a necessity for a start up rig.
