I'm trying to build a gaming pc that can handle most modern games on high settings (at least 1080p) while running FRAPS and also have good web browsing/download/upload/streaming capabilities. This is what ive come up with. Will it be enough to do these things? Are there any components that I could go cheaper with and still have the build be good enough? On new egg this racks up to about $975, I would like to make the build cheaper if I could get away with it.

Intel core i5-7600k - Processor
MSI z270m MORTAR LGA 1151 - motherboard
cooler master hyper 212 evo - cpu cooler
Corsair vengeance LPX 16gb 288pin ddr4 3000 - Ram
Corsair rmx series RM750X 750 w 80+ - power supply
GeForce GTX 1060 3gb - video card
WD blue 1 TB 7200 rpm sata 6gb/s - hard drive
ASUS DRW 24b1st - disk drive
Deep Cool tesseract SW midtower

Solution

better get the ryzen 5 1400, paired with b350 mobo and do some overclocking, change the ram to lower speed then overclock it to save some money, and i guess change the psu, your pc wont really need that much, try use pcpartpicker.com and choose your own parts, it also show the total watt needed for all parts

Solution
True, also that 3Gb 1060 wont do you any good in the future.. get 4GB minimum
