Hello everyone,

I am looking to buy my very first PC gaming desktop! I will be buying it from NCIX canada, I was wondering if the specs I chose (after a lot of research) would be appropriate with one another and will work well to game on high-ultra the latest games at 60fps 1440p. So here we go;

1 x INTEL® CORE™ I5-6600K 3.50GHZ 6M Cache FC-LGA14C LGA1151 Processor Retail Package Skylake
1 x Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Direct Touch 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 AM3 1366/1150/1155/1156/2011 (Is this the right cpu cooler?)
1 x ASUS Z170-A ATX LGA1151 Skylake DDR4 3PCI-E16 3PCI-E1 1PCI CrossFireX/SLI USB3.1 Motherboard (does this have internet connection etc? Do i need an additional audio card?)
1 x Corsair Vengeance Lpx 16GB 4X4GB DDR4-2666MHZ C16 XMP 2.0 1.2V Quad Channel Memory
1 x ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Founders Edition 1683/1506 MHZ 8GB DDR5 G-SYNC Vr Ready Video Card
1 x Corsair CX Series CX750 750W ATX 12V 80 Plus Bronze Power Supply Active PFC Fan 120mm Fan (Is this power supply good?)
1 x Corsair Carbide Series 230T Black Gaming Case ATX 3X5.25 4X3.5 Front USB3.0 Audio No PSU
1 x Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64BIT English DVD OEM for NCIX PC
1 x Intel 540S Series SSD SSDSC2KW240H6X1 240GB 7MM 2.5IN SATA 3 16NM Tlc Retail Pack
1 x Seagate 2TB 3.5in SATA3 64MB Cache Internal Solid State Hybrid Drive SSHD for NCIX PC
1 x ASUS DRW-24F1ST 24X SATA DVD Writer Black
1 x TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 450MBPS Dual-Band Wireless N PCI-E Adapter Atheros 3T3R 2.4/5GHZ 802 11A/B/G/N (Do I need a wireless adapter?)
1 x Please Use The Onboard Sound Card Integrated On My Motherboard (So here I can choose an audio card....)
1 x BitFenix BFA-MAG-30BK6-RP Magnetic LED Connect Lit Stripe 30CM - Green (because why not?:D)
1 x Bitfenix Spectre Pro BFF-LPRO-12025B-RP 120mm Blue LED Case Fan 1200 RPM 56.22 CFM 18.9 dbA *OEM* (Will this keep my system cool enough?)

Any input would be appreciated. Keep in mind that I can't choose anything and that I have a limited amount of options. If any peace is incompatible/inadequate let me know and ill show you the other options. Thanks in advance!

Solution
You do not need a sound card.

Your partlist is good except for the psu. The Corsair CX series psus are not very good.

Minor thing but I would get 2x8GB RAM instead of 4x4GB.

Eh well I've had mine the better part of 2 years now, hasn't ever given me problems. I guess i've gotten lucky! With my luck tho from just saying that it will burst into flames any minute now...
