Question First gen ryzen on x570

I have a ryzen 1800x and a x570i aorus pro wifi motherboard, the motherboard doesn't recognize the cpu. I saw on youtube a german guy who could boot up a 1800x on a msi x570 motherboard.

My question is how do you update the bios so that the motherboard could recognize the cpu? I can't update with an usb stick because it won't boot in bios... Thank you !

This card has no support for first-gen Ryzen. Updating the BIOS will do nothing, Gigabyte simply never implemented it.

Ryzen 1000 series CPUs are not listed on the compatibility page for the product.

the bios has QFlash Plus capability so you can update it w/o CPU / GPU (probably need the USB drive to be FAT32 though).
however if there's no 1xxx support - it's moot
