Hello everyone!

This is my first PC build and I am looking for some advise. I have been researching for about half a year now and I think I have finalized most aspects of the build. Here it is:

CPU: AMD FX-8370
CPU cooler: Noctua NH-U12S
Thermal compound: Arctic silver high density polysynthetic 3.5g silver
Mobo: ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 AM3+ RAM: Corsair Vengeance 1x8gb 1866mHz
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 120gb
SSHD: Seagate 1tb 7200rpm hybrid drive
GPU: Sapphire r9 280x 3gb gddr5 vapor-x tri-x
PSU: Corsair CX 750w 80+ Bronze Semis modular

All constructive criticism is welcome. A couple of preferences first. I really want a mobo with PCI-e 3.0 mainly for future proofing. GPUs will get better and I don't want to be replacing my mobo in 5 years or less. I really want this build to last 10-15 years without major updates.

Cases I am still deciding on. My top three are:
Corsair 760t Arctic White Full Tower
Antec Twelve Hundred V3 Full Tower
Thermal take Core V71

Requirements for case:
USB 3.0 (2 ports is sufficient)
Windowed side panel (I'm the type who likes to see their work)
Good amount of fan slots (5 is a minimum, and water cooling support is a good feature in case I chose to add it later on)

Again, thanks to everyone who will take the time to read this and post a reply!

Ram should be pairs instead of single.

I hope you can get 10 years out of this. I've ended up replacing the whole thing about every 5 years for the last 18 years. Half way thru the lifecycle of the one in my sig and the gpu is already really starting to show its age.

A range of games really. Battle field 4 most likely, Far Cry 4, and definetly AC Unity. Oh and BioShock infinite. Maybe others. These ones would be the most taxing. Would my system run them well?
