Solution
This is mainly a looks and personal preference thing.. but if I were to have such high end gear like a 6600k and a 970 I would want a bigger and better case to house it all it. That provides better cooling, ventilation and space for upgrades. And also a nice window to show it all off!! 😛

Its kinda like putting a V8 engine inside a beat up old car, haha. I'm not saying its a shit case. It's just basic, and you have yourself a high end system here

what case do you recommend then?

I personally prefer any full case that has a power supply cover, room to be able to 'push/pull' on a radiator at the top, 2.5" drive mounts behind the motherboard and being able to remove drive bays.

My favourite case is the Phanteks enthoo luxe, but seen how it is quite expensive.. its little brother the Enthoo Pro is worth looking at.

I like to have all those features I mentioned and I perosnally like the look of that case, but otherwise there is other cases with the same features that look different. Like NZXT's 530, 630 and 820 (I think i got the names correct).

Bigger cases are also more future proof, so for instance in the future if you need to crossfire/sli you will have adequate ventialation in the case as this generates more heat.

I personally have a thermaltake A31 mid case. Whilst it is a good case I wish I went for its bigger brother the A71 which is essentially the same case but a full tower instead as I am currently getting heat issues in my case since crossfiring because its soo small and also my case won't support a 240mm radiator at the top as the fans will touch my non low profile ram.
