I'd strongly recommend getting Windows 7 64 bit professional instead of Windows 8/8.1.

For a $2700+ build, I'd recommend going with an LGA 2011 build, changing over to an i7-5820k and DDR4 RAM. You will notice the difference.

I would recommend getting a better power supply as well, as a suggestion http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1850bbefx this one. The NEX series has many poor-to mixed reviews, ranging from failing Advanced Transient Responses, to poor voltage regulation and ripple. Certainly not something you'd want to see in an expensive build. The NEXB and G series are Tier 3 power supplies.

Do you think a Corsair RM 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply would make a good replacement ? I also added the DDR4 RAM as a custom part to the list with an amazon link. I'd very much appreciate it if you could check the new part list out http://pcpartpicker.com/user/JoseAnt1/saved/vJC9TW

Corsair RM is a Tier 3 PSU as well.

*edit*

I don't think my original post was understood well regarding this next part. To switch an Intel i7 5820k, you need to get a different motherboard, one with an LGA 2011 socket. Doing this will switch you to DDR4 RAM. You cannot use DDR4 RAM inside of the current motherboard selected.

Windows 8/8.1 is largely considered a flop, regardless for gaming or editing, just like Vista. However, if you're willing to wait, AMD leaked that Windows 10 is coming out in July.

Gameplay Experience Advantages

Are there gameplay experience advantages under Windows 8.1 versus Windows 7 in BF4? The answer is a, "Big YES."

Under Windows 7, we experienced choppiness as we played. This was felt both in the "Test Range" map, and in multiplayer gaming sessions. The choppiness was more pronounced on the GeForce GTX 780. We could get on a straight path, in the "Test Range" and move down a straight road. As we did this, there would be a pause, or chop, in the frames randomly. It was like the game was hitching for no reason. This happened more on the GTX 780. This is under Windows 7.

When we tried this on Windows 8.1 the pausing, or hitching, or chop (however you want to describe it) was completely gone. Moving was smoother with no hitching in the game on the GTX 780. This affected both the test range and the multiplayer gaming session.

Therefore, the gameplay experience advantage under Windows 8.1 is a smoother gameplay experience in BF4 on both video cards.
