Log term reader, first time poster!

Ok so ive done a little research, just looking for some feedback as the last time i put together a PC dual core processors were a thing of the future! I was weighing up wether to purchase and xbox one/ps4 and build a i3 HTPC or build a machine for both, i have decided on the latter.

My Goals:

  • Play current PC games in with no performace issues
Play 1080p downloaded movies with DTS audio via my denon AVR 3313 amplifier (via HDMI)
    Play 24 bit Audio
    4k ready

Here is what i have planned, any comments that will reduce cost or improve performance please let me know!!!

Fractal Design - Define R4 Black Pearl
Asus Z87 Pro
PSU - OCZ ModXSteam Pro 600W
Intel i5 4670K
Corsair Vengence - (2x4) 8GB DDR3 1866Mhz (£75)
Asus GTX 760
Cruicial 128GB SSD
WD Red - 2TB HHD (Already own this)

I will be using a 50inch LED as display

Cheers!

dont really have a budget but i dont really fancy going much over the above spend.

Optical drive - i dont really have a requirement for one.
SSD - Sounds good i though about the samsung, i will go for that
Cooler - dont have the first clue where to start with this, the less noise the better as it will be sat in my lviing room!
PSU - What would you suggest? Again the less noise the better

Here u have build with i7 xeon is like i7 for a price i5
If you do not want to OC it is really good buy.
Asus PRO is grat mobo. but you do not need it if you are not going to OC cpu. This build do have good psu and good cheap SSD.
Id like bigger 256GB SSD but this is really cheap. Gig go with mATX nut sure we buildone AX too if you like it better :)

This build do have really silent psu. Just take better cpu cooler to get more silence. Ultimate cpu cooler with xeon is Thermalright macho rev a bw. You can easy make really no noise build with this cpu + cooler.
