Hey guys, first time poster here!

So ive finally decided to buy a PC to do some gaming and Light multimedia stuff. At first I was going to buy the Acer predator helios gaming laptop for $2099 AUD, but figured im better off building a pc instead costing about $1300 AUD. Would really appreciate some help, advice or a thumbs up on the build.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with Wraith Stealth
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 WindForce OC 3GB
SSD: Crucial MX500 250GB M.2 SATA SSD
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM006
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Ryzen CMK16GX4M2Z2666C16 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4
Motherboard: ASRock AB350 Gaming K4 Motherboard
PSU: Thermaltake Smart RGB 600W 80 Plus Power Supply

Look forward to hearing from you!

I was able to find the Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2C3000C16 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 for roughly the same price. And decided to swap the ssd for the Samsung 860 EVO 250GB M.2 SSD, how do they stack up?

hows the Corsair CX650 650W Power Supply? I heard that the 1160 might be dropping around October but not sure if they were legit reports. I think i lack the patience to wait that long hah

ahh yeah just saw them, pretty darn good speeds. If i keep the gpu as is with the 3gb, i should have enough in the budget to improve the ssd, psu and get 3000mhz for the ram. Hows the motherboard btw?

Best b350....
You have to do some reseach on this
Many comes in very close price giving similar features and usually with discount.
Eg asus b350 plus or F , gigabyte b350m gaming3 etc

By the way , b450 is coming soon, expecting together with 2500x, 2300x

yeah ill have to look into it, thanks for your help btw, been very helpful :)
