Hello all,

First time PC builder here, trying to see what I can come up with on a budget of roughly $1200. I'd love to hear the opinions/suggestions from the forums about the parts I've selected below:

CPU: Intel - Core i7-8700K 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master - MasterLiquid Lite 120 66.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: MSI - Z370 GAMING PLUS ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: ADATA - XPG Z1 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
Storage: Western Digital - Blue 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6 GB SC GAMING Video Card
Case: Corsair - Carbide SPEC-04 (Black/Yellow) ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair - TXM Gold 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Case Fans: 2x Thermaltake - Riing 12 LED Yellow 40.6 CFM 120mm Fan

Total Estimated Cost (including tax/shipping): ~$1150.

It can also be noted that I intend to get a meatier GPU in the future, so that's why I have gone ahead and selected a PSU that might be a bit overkill for a GTX 1060. Also, I will be getting a 2TB HDD to use as a secondary drive in the near future as well; are there any recommended brands for 1TB/2TB HDDs in the ~$50 range?

Thanks!

It's a decent build but for $1200 this is what I'd get.
