Hello,

I am completely new to the PC building community but have spent quite a bit of time reading information online and watching youtube videos over the past month. I have a pretty strict budget of $650 as I am currently in graduate school and only able to work part time. I originally wanted to deck my pc out with a dedicated graphics card and an intel i5 8400 but have now decided to go the route of ryzen. I wanted to get highend components that are more future proof than just trying to throw together a cheap i3 1050ti computer, so instead I was thinking a ryzen 5 2400g to get me started, and then I can add a better CPU and dedicated graphics card, as well as more storage and memory down the road, while already having a good case, motherboard, and psu.

Heres the part list:
Ryzen 5 2400g 159.99
MSI B450 gaming pro carbon (I was looking for intigrated wi fi and bluetooth) 139.99
Team T Force Delta II RGB 3000 DDR4 2x 4gb 74.99
Samsung 860 EVO 500gb SSD 86.99
Seasonic Focus Plus SSR-550w 80+ Gold 71.99
NZXT H500 white (I really wanted a white case) 69.99
Corsair Gaming k55 48.25
Total: 651.61 (on Newegg)

I already have a wireless mouse I use with my laptop, as well as a 24in 1080p tv that should work as a monitor until I am able to get a dedicated PC monitor.

I was just wanting to get some opinions on if this would be a decent setup to begin with and upgrade as I am able to save more money. Right now I just need a computer to run basic office software, google chrome, ext. for school and want to do some light gaming on it. I hope to be able to include an RX 580, or GTX 1060 in the next year as well as a Ryzen 5 2600, or the next generation of Ryzen once they arrive, so I can do some more serious gaming and put my old Xbox One to rest. Thank you so much for your help.
