[SOLVED] First PC build, really confused

Hi,

Everything is new: sapphire rx5700xt, b450 aorus pro wifi (mini itx board- 3rd gen ready), using a HDMI cable to hook it up to my viewsonic monitor (to my gpu). I'm getting no display on my tv either.

What I've done so far: Made sure all connections are solid, reset the CMOS using a screwdriver. The has allowed me to shut down the pc using the power buitton in 3 sec. Previously, I had to shut off the main power supply. After the reset, there are orange lights on the side of the mobo and it now makes 1 beep sound.
I have also tried removing 1 ram stick and booting.

I've googled the issue and it seems that it has something to do with the bios. Hoping you guys can steer me in the right direction.

Have you connected 6-pin/8-pin PCIe power cables to the RX5700?

Post full system specs including PSU make & model.

Really grateful for your response -right on the money; the PSU was the issue. Found out that I didn't have the fans switched on the PSU when running the PC.... oops! All good now, getting that windows booted up and everything. I'm curious if I have to do anything now that I have reset the CMOS?
