First PC build

I am a console gamer and i have finally decided i want to delve deep into PC gaming. My budget is about $600. I came up with this build and I am wondering if it's any good. If there is a better deal out there or if it isn't a good build please inform me. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1b2Oc

Also, do I really need to have a professional assemble it for me or is it simple enough to do myself?

this is a really good build with the same cpu and it has a better gpu and 8gb 1600mhz ram and a 1.5 terabyte harddrive. and it is about $580 with a wifi adapter also. also look at the custom parts at the bottom and i have the motherboard, ram, harddrive with links to them.(click on them and copy and paste that link into a new tab).

looks like a better build for sure. Also, can you tell you me which OS is the best to use? I don't really want it to be more $70, though.

I could make it about $597 with an fx-8320 but you would get no optical drive and a 500w psu instead of a 600w psu and instead of the optical drive i would link a 8gb flash drive and you would have to install windows off a usb flash drive

It seems like that build should get more than 500W. Your first build looks better
