im building my first pc and thinking of using a 17 7700k,gtx 1060 msi gaming gpu,ASUS rog z270f,16gb of corsair vengeance ddr4 ram and a corsair psu and corsair Spec alpha case.Will this run games like World of warcraft,Overwatch,Grand theft auto V and many more at a good framerate at max setting in 1080p?

You will most likely be able to run everything at 1080p at at least 60fps at max settings. The only part there that MIGHT slow down a bit is your GPU. In big games like GTA V you might have to tone down the settings a little bit. And I really mean a LITTLE bit. You would only notice a slight downgrade. But I doubt you'll run into any issues at all and you can keep your max settings the whole time.

What if I upgrade to a gtx 1070 how much more fps can that get me?

yes your components are good , i hope you would get 6gb 1060 and if you want to be future proof try to get 1070 instead of 1060 on 1080 resolutin gaming.

Sometimes max settings arent really worth it. If you put your settings at Very High instead of Ultra or something, you wont really notice a difference at all. So, short answer, yes, all that can run pretty much anything.
