Hello All
I am building a new rig for a friend using the AM5 platform and this and first build using the M-ATX build.
I am use to the 6 pin or 8 pin power supply on top of the board but not the 8+ 4 pin set up.
System info for reference;
Case Thermaltake AH T200 in racing green
Motherboard: ASUS B650M-Plus WIFI
Ram: Crucial Pro Series DDR5 32 gb (2 x16gb) 6000MT/s
CPU: AMD Ryzen9 7950X with graphic
Hard Drive: SSD Samsung 990 Pro 2TB
Graphic card: Gigabite 4070 Super
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Frozen Prim 240 all-in0one CPU liquid cooler
Power supply: Corsair RMx Series RM1000x 80 plus gold

My problem with this build is the 8+4 power input on the top of the mother board.
This power supply has a cable for the 8 pins but nothing for the other 4 pins.
So will it cause a problem if those 4 pins are not powered or
do I need to get a different power supply and if so which brand and model that
can work with this mother board 8+4 pin problem and has max length is 180MM?

This is my forth PC build but I have never encountered this problem before.
So any help would be grateful from the experts.

Thanks

That power supply should come with two EPS12V cables for CPU power and both of them should be 4+4 cables which means you shouldn't have any problems.
This power supply came with 3 6+2 cables; 2 8 pin cables; 4 SATA power cables; 2 Moller and the main power cord for the board but no 4+4 cables hint my question.
also this box was UN-open from Amazon.
Sorry to all I found my error the 8 pin were two 4+4 pins stuck together and it looked like I just had two 8 pin cables.
Again thank you for the help and sorry to bother you.
