First time build, looking for help/critiques

Hey everyone, I'm building my first computer with a budget of $1150 and am looking for help with the parts I picked. I don't know much about the newest hardware, etc but I've tried my best to research what would be best. It'll be used mostly for schoolwork and video games (Assassin's Creed series, Dota 2, Minecraft, Skyrim, etc.). I want something that will last me a while.

That's pretty much what I'm looking for. Didn't know much about hardware until I started to research about a month ago. Just want to make sure I'm getting the best rig I can for my budget and my needs.

what's the difference between the 4670K and the 4690K? They seem pretty comparable price wise.

its got the edge when it come to gaming and you can overclock the shit out of it
