So this is my first build I was wondering if I could get some feedback on the component choices I have made:

CPU: Intel Core i7-990X Extreme Edition Gulftown 3.46GHz LGA 1366 130W Six-Core Desktop Processor.
CPU coolant: Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler.
GPU: Duel SLI (Two) EVGA Superclocked GeForce GTX 680 2GB 256 bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card.
RAM: 16gigs
Motherboard: EVGA 141-GT-E770-A1 LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard
PS: High Current Pro HCP-750 750W.
SSD: (Two) Samsung 830 Series MZ-7PC128B/WW 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive.
Optical: Single DVD burner.
OS: Windows 7 Home premium 64bit.
Monitor: Asus VK278Q Black 27" 1920x1080 2ms Full HD HDMI LED BackLight LCD Monitor.

Also, this is primarily a gaming computer. I want a decent build and so far the options above seemed most favorable for my set goal. I am not yet as knowledgeable as most of the people on this forum and would greatly appreciate some opinions and/or criticism on the selected build. Thanks ahead of time!

Edit: Ok changed the motherboard, I think the CPU and MB works together now.

Actually, I didn't really even think about compatibility, thanks for the heads up!

yes expensive but worth it. I could have gone for duel GTX 690s but figured that would be overkill 😉

[strike]How exactly can you find out whether they are compatible?[/strike]

Figured it out 😀

Anyone else give any thought to my build or how to make it better?
