First time build

Hey i just put all my parts together plugger everything in . tryed to turn on the pc to go to bios and i dont get any picture on the screen and the fans spin up then spin down then spin up again. Anyone have any ideas what might be wrong?

Did you plug in the cpu power cable? It should be an 8 pin connector at the top of the motherboard. That's a common mistake. If you did then go through the guide posted above.
