Hello guys,
Before I start please excuse me if I posted this on the wrong thread, this is my first time posting.

This is going to be my first time ever building a pc, I decided to make one because my current desktop is so outdated and has a lot of problems. Not to mention its processor is worth $20.

I would like to know if I'm getting the right amount of power for my build.
Here are my parts

CPU:I5 4670k
GPU:GeForce GTX750
MOBO:Asus Maximus VI hero
Heatsink:Cooler master Hyper 212 evo
Ram: G.skill ripsaws 8gb (2 x 4gb)
Optical drive: LG Internal Super Multi Drive 24X
Memory:1 tb
Now for the Psu: corsair cs series modular cs650 watt
Is that amount of power to much for my build? I also plan on overclocking.
Should I get a different Psu? I've tried going online and filling out a questioneer but I don't understand some parts. I'd really appreciate some help. Also, how many fans should I have?
Thanks again

Update: Sorry I forgot to mention that this will be not only for gaming but for other stuff as well. Besides, I don't really plan on playing games like call of duty on ultra. I plan on playing them on either high or medium, I also plan to play indie games.

Solution
What's wrong with it? Please I'd love to know, this is my first time build and would really appreciate the feedback

Like these other guys have shown you, you can fit a GTX770 in a $1000 build. The GTX750 is a super budget gpu and is really not very good. You were spending way to much on cpu power and not enough on the video card.
I assume that you already have a case, monitor, OS, keyboard, and mouse.

Why did you go with a K processor, an aftermarket cpu cooler, and then a non-overclockable motherboard? OP said that he plans on OCing.

Solution

I accidentally clicked on your comment as solution -_-. Well I plan on upgrading as time goes on, I just really want to be able to run programs like photoshop and such. I chose that motherboard and CPU because I know it'll benefit me in the long run.

Well still, if you're budget is $1000, there's no reason to to get a $115 video card. I recommend the Xeon e3-1230v3 and a H97 motherboard instead of paying so much extra to overclock. I can't see somebody with your expected uses EVER needing to overclock.
