Selected the parts for a rig. Used Newegg and TigerDirect. Just wanted to know if all these parts together would actually work. I've never built my own computer before and wanted to give it a try.

--Xion AXP120-001P ATX Mid-Tower Gaming Case

--BIOSTAR TA880GB AM3 AMD 880G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

--AMD Athlon II X3 445 Rana 3.1GHz Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Desktop Processor ADX445WFGMBOX

--PowerColor AX5570 1GBD3-H Radeon HD 5570 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

--Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Dual Channel Kit

--Seagate ST3500418AS Barracuda 7200.12 Hard Drive - 3.5", 7200 RPM, SATA 3G, 500GB, 16MB Cache

--Asus DRW-24B1ST 24X Internal DVD Burner

I would use this pc for WoW mostly and a few FPS. Like I said, I am completely new at this so don't be too hard please.

Thanks

I got this setup to cost about $385 ($370 after a mail in rebate)

Negative on 5570 - at best it merely trade blows with previous gen HD 4670? Negative also if this was the free psu with Xion case - hit an entry level 80+ PSU

Tower w/o discrete $286AR

GTS 450 $90AR

$376AR total

Wow, i didn't even see that combo deal. Yea the case came with a power supply from TigerDirect, but i'll take your suggestion and get a better power supply. Is the ATI Radeon 5770 better than the GTS 450? They are pretty much the same price after rebate so I was just curious
