why u want amd cpu for 4070?! intel cpu will be better and also try to wait a little more 2 months until the new release of rtx 5000 for the first time! you should wait, also there may be a new releases in other pc components..

You do realize the 7800x3d was being called the best CPU for gaming before AMDs 9000 series released? Intel is still competitive but AMD has improved a lot and has picked up a lot of market share as of late.

As far as the 4070 I see where your coming from but more than likely nvidia will be overpriced as they typically are. I tend to prefer AMD on graphics because of price to performance. But that’s me.

Sorry, the comment was directed towards chillhouse1 due to the comment about Intel being better. It’s not that their terrible, I’ve got a 12600kf in my own pc but AMD is pretty good these days.

On the gpu if you want to save some money you might have a look at the AMD rx 7900 xt.

https://www.newegg.com/asrock-phant...adeon-rx-7900-xt-20gb-gddr6/p/N82E16814930083

Is a bit less but in raw power I think it’s a little ahead of the 4070ti super. Ray tracing the nvidia gpu will be better but the 7900xt is quite a bit cheaper. So might be worth checking on.

i have a brand loyalty to intel and NVIDIA, since Intel® Pentium® Gold G5420 Processor 3.8 ghz : earlier than Pentium 4, i dont know.. but since he got the gtx 4070, i directly think of intel..
