What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.
Gaming, Browsing, Streaming (Maybe), Multi-Tasking.
If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings)
1080p, Max settings or close, at 60 fps+ on most games.
What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?
1200$ CAD total price including monitor, 1050$ CAD without monitor.

Very nervous for building my first pc, so any advice would be helpful, and any tips on the build itself would be nice aswell. Thanks :)

I would maybe add an SSD, at least a small one as a boot drive, and Id look at the GTX970 as a graphics card as nvidia GPU's run a bit smoother due to decent driver updates compared to AMD, thats what I found in my personal experience anyway

why thank you good sir 😛 also I would maybe invest in a better PSU purely for futureproofing and longevity, the one your buying may only last for a few years rather than say 10 like a top range one, and there not that much more expensive
