Hi, well I am kind of new at this, and I don't know if this is a good build or not, so please take a look.

Antec Twelve Hundred V3 Black Steel ATX Full Tower
Seagate Barracuda ST3750525AS 750GB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5
SONY Black SATA DVD-ROM
RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS 730W ATX12V Modular Power Supply
Patriot Gamer 2 Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
ASRock X79 Extreme3 or ASRock X79 Extreme 4
Intel Core i7-3930K
COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO

Also, I really don't know which mobo to use (I want to spend roughly $200-$250 on it).
If my initial build is successful, I want to get the Corsair H100 or the Coolermaster V8, and the
GTX 680 (or 670 Ti).

First off what's your max budget and what GPU are you going with? I'd heavily advise against buying a Raidmax PSU - there's no words to accurately describe how much I hate Raidmax. Knowing what GPU and whether or not you're going to SLI / Crossfire will help to suggest a better PSU.

I wouldn't get either of those fans - go with a D14.

Well, I plan to spend close to $1300 on it but its OK if it goes over by a little, and I most probably will go with the 670 Ti when it releases. I don't plan to SLI.

Oh, my bad. This should be better:

For $1300 this is what I'd suggest:

Case: Corsair Carbide 400R - $99.99 ($10.00 MIR)
PSU: Corsair TX650 V2 - $89.99 ($15.00 MIR)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H - $159.99
CPU: 3.30GHz Intel Core i5-3570K - $249.99
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo - $34.99
RAM: Crucial Ballistix sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 - $42.99
SSD: Crucial M4 CT064M4SSD2 2.5" 64GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - $80.99
HD: 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3 - $109.99
Optical: LG DVD Burner - $17.99
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 - $359.99

Total: $1,246.90 - $25.00 MIR = $1,221.90

Add a Windows license and you're good to go. I don't include peripherals on builds as that's entirely personal preference and you can always get the good ones after you get your build up and running.

A $600 CPU is not obtainable on a $1300 budget - you'd have to go way higher if you want any sort of decent GPU to go with it.
