So i'm ready to build my first gaming PC. I'm on $700 dollar budget. Looking for any advice/feed back if this good build or if i should change anything. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank You.

I see that you're getting the i5-4690 (non-k) and a Z97 board. If you're not OCing, you get a H97 board and save some money.

I also encourage you to get a SSD. An optional hardware that makes you enjoy using your PC, no more waiting for your disk to spin.

Hmmm... works when i click on it. Here's the build.

Intel Core i5-4690 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor

ASRock Z97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Sapphire Radeon R9 380 4GB Nitro Video Card

NZXT S340 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case

EVGA 600B 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Is a SSD necessary? I know they have faster loading times, but are there any other benefits?

No that's it really, not essential but once you go SSD you won't go back.

Arguably they're more reliable now too.
