I've been a long time console user, and while I still enjoy using my PS4, I am looking to take my gaming to a "more serious" level. I have done some basic research, and to me this build makes sense, but some confirmation from people who may know a bit more than myself would be awesome!

I currently do not have a case selected as I am looking more at the internals right now. Obviously there are tons of different cases, and this may be a stupid question, but is there a way to make sure all of the hardware will fit inside it? Would anybody be willing to throw out suggestions? The last thing I want to do is get something that is too small.
I'm fine with running games at 1080p right now, but perhaps in a couple years I will want to be able to run them at 1440p.
I am looking at a budget of around $1100, but if there is a way to make a noticeable difference in performance I may be willing to spend just a bit more.
